Sweet Pea, as she is so affectionately named, was a rescue kitty. She became disoriented and some how became lost from her first family. But two nice ladies decided to feed her and take her in for a while. Then they heard about a friend of theirs that had lost her dog and cat about a year ago and thought she might be ready for another kitty (See the stories on Levi and Whitney). Well after one look at this sweet calico/tortoise, her mother decided it was time to start a new feline family....and the rest is history.

Sweet Pea knew that there were animals in the house before, and was confused as to why she was the only one although she could smell others. She began sending psychic message and dreams to her mother about a possible playmate, and in comes the comical and clown-like character Jake. Having a kitten around keeps her on her toes, her mother says. During play time they play hard, chasing each other, tossing and turning, jumping and yelling, but all in fun. There is no doubt that now Sweat Pea and Jake will take over the legacy of Levi and Whitney, and the cycle of a new family begins again.
