Purple Rocks
In real life, one rarely sees purple rocks, unless of course you have on a pair of lilac glasses or have ingested some mind-altering chemical. This painting was my idea of a fun way to look at nature, by painting her in a color, which appealed to me most. Taken from a photo shot in the North Georgia Mountains, you can almost see the water as the foreground and the rocks as the background. A playful mix of real and fake makes this one something to ponder....or not?
