Millie was rescued from a shelter in Denver Colorado. Too young to be away from her mother, the shelter did the best to adopt out all of her companions to homes who could take in newborns. And this little girl found a loving new mom in the big city.

Like so many other dogs, she was part of a ring of animals, which were owned and never attended to or spayed. Female dogs can have offspring from multiple dogs within the same litter. It is difficult to determine her mixes, but it really doesn't matter. It's her heart that shows the biggest of all her character traits.

It is uncertain as to what happened to her littermates, but this lucky girl lives "the high life" now with her feline companion in a very affluent and up-and-coming neighborhood in Denver. Her mother is an architect who has designed her house to be pet friendly, so Millie comes and goes wherever she pleases...she is pretty much now the house owner. Happy tails in this house for sure!

One of my favorite quotes seems so perfect here..."If a dog will not come to you after having looked you in the face, you should go home and examine your conscience"
