Lillie and Eku Angel
This painting is one I did of my own dogs. During its creation EKU (the one on the right) Catahoula Leopard passed away. She was a absolute angel, and one of the most brilliant dogs to have graced my life. Thus me adding the wings at the completion of the painting. At 16 she made major contributions to this world. All of my dogs have been rescues, many which had endured much in their lifetime, but gave so much more back to me. Eku's passing was peaceful, and Lillie now at 14 carries on her legacy as my alpha female. I continue to bring in and foster new animals in our home, and she keeps thing in order, and ensures that the house runs smoothly under her strict jurisdiction.
