Count was rescued from a shelter in Tucson, Arizona over 11 years ago. At the time, he was about 3 months old, and his adoptive mom tells me that his personality and his coloring (all black) made him irresistible to her. Count was well traveled as he lived in three states, (Arizona, Michigan, and finally Georgia). Count was quite an unusual fellow, as he would play fetch like a dog, and was quite the conversationalist. His owners thinks that within his circle of language, he speaks multiple dialects, and his favorite was speaking Siamese. Over the years Count began to gray or so gracefully, but inside he was still the same loving kitten who was adopted over a decade ago from a shelter in the desert!

I am sad to report, that unfortunately Count passed away, on October 25th, 2002. His life was taken from him way too soon, and his family misses him dearly. I hope for human family, that they find peace in their home regardless of his absence, and comfort in their hearts knowing that he is in a place where all kitties go...the place where mice, birds and soft pillows are in abundance. I am sure that they know that he is watching over them every time they think of him!
